Daniel L. Tyler Obituary

Daniel Leon Tyler, 87, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born April 27, 1937, at his home in Lebanon, Indiana; a son of the late Benjamin E. and Gladys F. (Watson) Tyler.

He was first married to Katherine A. (Nooe) Tyler and later divorced. She preceded him in death on February 18, 2016. Daniel married Mary E. (Krause) Tyler, and she preceded him in death on January 16, 2012. On December 3, 2013, he married Deanna L. (Brown) Tyler; she survives.

Daniel graduated from Perry Central High School in 1955. He spent his life farming and raising livestock.

He was a member of the Boone County Antique Tractor Club. Daniel had a talent for restoring vintage items, including Hudson cars and antique tractors. During the winter months, he enjoyed traveling to Florida in his RV.

Survivors include his wife, Deanna Tyler; children, Deborah L. Curnutte, Terry L. Sanders, Rick A. Tyler, Danielle A. Lechette, and Anita J. Black; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Arlaine Tyler.

In addition to his parents and former wives, Daniel was preceded in death by a grandchild, Nathan; brothers, Robert Tyler and Bennie (Wanda) Tyler; and sisters, Juanita (Robert) Leach and F. Alice Hinton.

Visitation is planned for Monday, March 10, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, Indiana.

Memorials may be directed in his memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
