Lebanon, Indiana - Lois E. Morog (Timby) was born in Buffalo, New York, on November 22, 1929, to William E. Timby and Maude E. Timby (Shupe) and passed peacefully on March 29, 96 years old. Lois graduated from Kenmore Senior High School in 1947. She met her late husband, Joseph V. Morog, in high school. She went on to earn an associate's degree at Rochester Institute of Technology in Fashion Merchandising.
Lois lived the majority of her adult life in Newton, MA, moving to Lebanon, IN in her 80's. She was an expert sewer, voracious reader and fashionable dresser; her other interests included world travel, antiques, gardening, reading and painting. She owned Threshold Antiques for several decades in Boston specializing in the Arts and Craft era. She was a lifelong learner.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maude E. and William E. Timby and brothers, Wayne (Mary) and William D. (Mary). She is survived by brother, Donald Timby; daughter, Lisa (late husband, Charles Dio); and sons, James (Tamie), Thomas (Renae) and Andrew. She has 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
