Mrs. Margaret Mae "Magie Owens" Heim, 76, of Elizabethtown, Ky., passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010, at The Medical Center, Bowling Green, Ky.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Heim; her parents, Charlie and Sophia (Taylor) Burton; one son, Alexander Heim; one brother, Harold Burton; and three sisters, Alma Christine Niemiec, Barbara Jean LaPointe and Rosie Marie Burton.. Mrs. Heim was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church and a lifetime member of American Legion Post 410 in Whitestown.. She was retired from nursing, and was a professional country music singer. She was the owner and proprietor of the Kentucky Barn Dance in Elizabethtown.. Mrs. Heim was a loving mother and grandmother.. She is survived by sons, Ronald Tracy (Ashley) Owens of Bowling Green, Ky., and William Stacy Owens of Elizabethtown; daughters, Patricia Ann (Tom) Wood of Clarkson, Ky., and Pamela Yvonne (Jay) Page of Pleasant Grove, Utah; brothers, James Jarvis Burton, Vernon Roy Burton and Charles Wayne Burton, all of Elizabethtown, and Glen Paul Burton of Shepherdsville, Ky.; sister, Beverly Pauline Bottoms of Radcliff, Ky.; and nine granddaughters, two grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, or 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 15, at the Manakee Funeral Home, 2098 Leithfield Road, Elizabethtown. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with family officiating. Burial will be at the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens..
