Indianapolis, IN - Martha Parr, aged 100, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and unwavering faith. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Parr, and their infant son, Daniel Kevin. 

Martha is survived by her children Rev. Carol Parr, Kirk Parr, M.D. (Dr. Sharon Parr), Kent Parr, Esq. (Rev. Pam Abbey), and grandchildren Joshua Murtorff, Mathias Parr, Gabriel Murtorff (Allison), Luke Parr, M.D., Natalie Parr Mead, D.O. (Cory), and great grandson Cameron Mead. 

Martha was a kind, generous, patient, and humble woman. She was heavily involved in church and community activities everywhere she lived. A graduate of DePauw University, Martha enjoyed a career counseling children and youth at the Indiana United Methodist Children's Home and selecting tenants for the Fort Wayne Housing Authority. She was deeply committed to her Lord, her family, and her church family. Her life reflected her abiding Christian faith and values. She touched countless lives through her quiet strength and compassionate heart. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.  

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on March 6, 2026, at Meridian Street United Methodist Church which is located at 5500 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, Indiana. There will be a brief visitation at 9:30 A. M. preceding the service. Interment will take place privately following the service.
