Rebecca A. Johnston
Rebecca A. Johnston, 45, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on May 22, 1974; the daughter of Barbara (Walters) Donley and the late Michael Donley.
A life-resident of Lebanon, Rebecca was a 1992 graduate from Lebanon High School and following high school she attended IUPUI studying Political Science.
On May 20, 2005, she was married to Johnny Johnston in Las Vegas; he survives.
Rebecca began her career at Pearson Ford in Zionsville; she then worked for Wheaton Van Lines in Indianapolis and most recently was an Instructional Assistant at Hattie B. Stokes Elementary.
Rebecca loved being involved and volunteering at Stokes Elementary, where she was a former president of the PTO. She was also active with Freedom Church and the Talent Factory in Lebanon. She adored her family and loved supporting her boys in all the events they did through the years. She will be remembered for her kind personality and unconditional love.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Johnston of Lebanon; mother, Barbara Donley of Lebanon; three sons, Mikey Johnston, Ben Johnston and Jacob Johnston, all of Lebanon; sisters, Melissa Schuermann and husband, David of Lebanon, Anna Donley of Lebanon; along with several aunt, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Freedom Church, 2061 Indianapolis Ave., Lebanon, Indiana 46052. Funeral Services are planned for 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 27, at Freedom Church with Pastor Josh Wells officiating. Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hattie B. Stokes, 1005 Hendricks Drive, Lebanon, Indiana 46052. Online condolences:

I didn't have the privilege to know her personally but she seems so loving and caring. Such a heartbreaking loss to her family, friends and all the kids and staff at Hattie B. Stokes Elementary and The Talent Factory. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.
