Houston, Ohio - Ryan A. Jourdan, age 44, of Houston, Ohio, died Thursday, April 2, 2026, at his home. He was born on August 21, 1981, in Greenfield, Indiana to Glen & Susan (Dixon) Jourdan. Both of his parents survive in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He married Margaret-Mary "Maggie" Cordonnier on August 20, 2016, and she survives with their four children: Damian (7), Silas (6), Job (4), and Lena (1). Also surviving are: his brother Matthew Jourdan of Indianapolis: sisters: Kelly and Jansen Gehring of Brownsville, IN and Amanda Armstrong of Bloomington, IN; his father-in-law, Henry Cordonnier of Russia; in-laws: Maria and Andrew Bremberg of Alexandria, VA, Ruth Ann and Paul Almeter of Whitepost, VA, Joshua and Rosemary Cordonnier of Lewisville, TX, Catherine and Chad Topp of Minster, Luke and Sarah Cordonnier of Russia, Nick and Uly Cordonnier of Russia, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Ann (Fisher) Cordonnier.
Ryan was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church and a graduate of Butler University with a business degree. Ryan loved the outdoors and enjoyed taking care of his bees, making maple syrup and apple cider, gardening, working in the woods, and boating, but most of all, he was a loving husband and father. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, April 9, 2026, at St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia, OH. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia, on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, April 9 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
