Lebanon, Indiana - Sheralynn Kay Owens, 83, passed away at her home in Lebanon, Indiana on February 22, 2026. She was born in Lebanon on July 29, 1942; a daughter of the late Charles S. and Elizabeth C. "Betty" (Hill) Dale.

On September 30, 1960, she married James Kent "Jim" Owens in Dover, Indiana. They shared 64 loving years of marriage before he passed away on August 5, 2025.

Sheralynn graduated from Lebanon High School in 1960. She worked at the Indiana License Branch and prior to that she worked for RCA in Indianapolis.

Sheralynn was a member of VFW Auxiliary in Lebanon. She enjoyed reading, word puzzles, and cats. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family.

Survivors include her two sons, James "Jim" K. (Angela) Owens II of Lebanon and Dale F. (Michelle) Owens of Syracuse; four grandchildren, Amanda L. (Joe) Huss, Carlie M. (Stephen) Mcknight, James K. Owens III, and Katelynn M. (Dean) Brandt; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sheralynn was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Madison Marie Veach.

Services will be held at a later date.

Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her arrangements.
